The Park Development Committee works with the Park Board to improve the facilities at Leaverton Park and increase public awareness of the park.
Some past projects of the committee include
installing new windows in the community
building. The building trim was also painted during the
summer. Carved bears were purchased and placed in the front of the
park, and new lights
were installed on the 'Babe Ruth' diamond.
